Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement Update
This update explains the changes to how electricity supply numbers are displayed.

What you need to know
Since 22 September 2025, the way electricity supply numbers are displayed has changed as part of an industry-wide update called ‘R0083 - Supply Number Format Changes’. The update is purely cosmetic and modernises how your Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN) is displayed. This will not have any impact on your electricity rates or prices. It’s part of wider industry improvements to enable half-hourly settlement under the Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) programme.
What's changing?
There will be two visible changes to your MPAN display:
The 'Meter Time Switch Code' (MTC) will be replaced with a 4 digit 'Standard Settlement Configuration ID' (SSC ID).
The 'Line Loss Factor Class' (LLFC) will be renamed to the 'DUoS Tariff ID'.
Where will I see this change?
You’ll see the new MPAN structure on any electricity billing and documentation:
Your invoices
Quotations or contract documents for new or additional sites
When will I see this change?
Your MPAN structure will change from the 22 of September 2025.
Will this affect my energy rates or supply?
No, your energy rates and energy supply will stay exactly the same, this is simply a change to the way information is displayed.
