Electricity emergency

Call 105 if you have an electrical emergency such as a power cut. You’ll be put through to your local electricity network operator. 

Call free from most landlines and mobiles in England, Scotland and Wales. 

• Check your fuse box to see if any fuses have been tripped

• Switch off all electrical appliances that shouldn’t be left unattended, ready for when the power comes back on

• Leave a light on so you know when the power outage has been resolved.
